The office has nine hygienists. During a hygiene appointment not only your teeth get cleaned but also we follow a strict protocol developed by the Doctors. You can expect our standard of excellence in every appointment consisting of:

Periodontal probing and charting
Scaling and prophylaxis (cleaning)
Evaluation for deep-cleaning with local anesthesia
Placement of local antibiotics in periodontal pockets
Four bitewing radiographs once a year or full-mouth (20 films) radiographs every five years
Yearly comprehensive oral examination
Cancer exam
Review of home care instructions
Topical fluoride application
Evaluation of need for use of high-strength fluoride toothpaste or mouth rinse
Evaluation of tooth color and tooth whitening need.
